Companion
Companion Weight
Companion Weight capacity starts at 1.00 for every class. Each Companion has a corresponding entry describing how much of that capacity they use; their Companion Weight. The player's Companion Weight capacity may be increased by items (Conjurer Set, Homunculus Ring and Friendship Charm) or Traits (Pack Mentality, Strong Together).
For a 1.00-weight companion you may summon one of them, for a 0.50-weight companion you may summon two, for a 0.30-weight companion you may summon three, and for a 0.25-weight companion you may summon four. Each increase to the player's Companion Weight capacity allows another set of Companions to be summoned. You must have the full amount of Companion Weight capacity to summon another Companion (only relevant for 0.3-weight Companions).
Each Companion summoned will grant its listed bonus to the player for each individual summon. If you summon two 0.50 weight summons, you will receive double the listed bonus. You may also summon one 0.50 weight of one type and another 0.50 weight of a different type, you would receive each listed bonus one time each.
Examples for 1.00 Companion Weight capacity:
- two Spidersgrant +50% critical hit The damage from critical hits is multiplied with your critical hit multiplier. damage.
- one Spiderand one Paper Crane will grant +25% critical hit The damage from critical hits is multiplied with your critical hit multiplier. damage and 25% increased effect of auras.
- one Spider and two Voodoo Dolls will grant +25% critical hit The damage from critical hits is multiplied with your critical hit multiplier. damage and 10% increased attack speed.
- one of each Necromancer skeletons only uses 0.90 of the player's capacity, but a fourth may not be summoned.
Companions summoned from wearable equipment or traits do not count against the player's Companion Weight capacity and are automatically summoned when the item is attuned.
