It is possible to break the crystals using the <span style="color:#f83b00">inferno</span> {{KW|Orbital}} given by the {{KW|InfernoP}}. It might also be possible with other orbitals (is currently being tested).
You don't have to use a {{KW|Bomb}} to break the crystals, any projectile from any weapon is capable of damaging or breaking them.
 
It's currently unclear whether this is a bug or a feature.
